Looking to Camden Harbor

Looking to Camden Harbor while standing on Beech Hill on the front porch of a historic building was just a pause in a busy ministry weekend in West Rockport and surrounding areas.

The weekend began with a Friday evening bonfire. While roasting over sized marshmallows we chatted about our lives and mission adventures in Ecuador. A family International potluck supper was held on Saturday which gave further opportunity to speak of our ministry transition from Chaupimolino, Ecuador to San Francisco de Borja. Sunday activities included a teaching during Sunday School on "Coming to Christ with a Traditional Religious Background". The weekend ended Sunday evening with a visual presentation on Ecuador and the ministry God has called us to in Borja and a challenge from God's Word, " Bringing God's Love to Life" concerning everyone's role in discipling others to a personal relationship to Jesus.

Our host for the weekend was the Caverly Family. Todd definitely thinks outside the box when it comes to carpentry. He has beautifully remodeled a chicken house into a very functional home for their large family. We appreciate their ministry to others both in and outside their home.

Please be praying as we prepare for a week as Camp Missionaries at Camp Good News in Maine later this month.
